We recently announced that the Advisory Board has attained 501(c)(3) status; we are now a nonprofit organization. Any donations received in the form of cash or check will be put into an account for use by the Advisory Board to enhance our activities at Cascades Senior Center only. It no longer goes to the County to be used for anything under the heading of “Parks and Recreation.” NOTE: Your cash/check donations are now tax-deductible!
Our current Advisory Board has worked very hard to achieve this status. We would welcome your appreciation of this hard work by receiving donations of cash, checks, or items to be sold in the Curio Cabinet. The Curio Cabinet was also started by the Advisory Board; namely, through the hard work of Celeste Mullally and other board members and volunteers as needed. Your donations of any kind are always received with appreciation and used for your Center.
Checks can be made out to LCSCC Advisory Board and mailed to THE ADVISORY BOARD at the address at right. As noted before, cash/checks are tax-deductible. Donations of curio items (none larger than a bread basket) can be made at the Senior Center at any time during our open hours.
